POSTHUMAN BEAUTY: BURNING THE STANDARDS
This is not beauty, not the kind sold to you by corporations, filtered through algorithms, or shaped by colonial legacies and capitalist fantasies.
Posthuman Beauty is a rejection. A revolt. An aesthetic uprising against the sanitized, symmetrical, whitewashed ideals that dominate fashion and define our worth.
In this editorial, bodies are no longer confined to flesh, gender, or normativity. They are machine, alien, hybrid, messy, uncomfortable, and unapologetically synthetic. Here, beauty isnβt soft or palatable. Itβs raw, constructed, and deeply unnatural.
By dismantling the human-centric gaze, we make space for something freer, something unrecognizable to the systems that taught us to hate ourselves. If this makes you uncomfortable, good. Thatβs the point.
