The soundtrack album for the upcoming film adaptation of Emily Brontë’’s novel. A darker, gothic sound is expected – a departure from Brat. Inspired by the film’s script, it’s described as “raw, wild, sexual, gothic and British”. February 13.
6. Lana Del Rey – Stove

Lana Del Rey has changed her upcoming country album’s name multiple times, from the initial “Lasso” to “The Right Person Will Stay”, and most recently to “Stove”. With more autobiographical songs added, the release date is believed to be pushed back to late January.
7. Ladytron – Paradises

It’s a great year for electro-clash fans as another major player Ladytron tempts a genre revival with Paradises. Releasing March 20, it’s “a beach at the end of the world” …
8. Xiu Xiu – Xiu Mutha Fuckin’ Xiu: Vol. 1

Xiu Xiu is an American experimental rock band, formed in 2002, known for their challenging, emotionally raw music. It blends avant-garde pop, noise, and art-rock with deeply personal and often dark lyrics exploring trauma, identity, and sexuality. January 16.
9. Cardinals – Masquerade

The Cork quintet, known for their canny ability to translate Ireland’s cultural fabric into introspective earworms, are set to release their debut album on February 13. A bumper 2025 saw the band boast supporting slots for The Pogues and Fontaines D.C, priming Masquerade for maximum impact.
10. The Buzzcocks – Attitude Adjustment

With a career spanning five decades, January 30 will see punk juggernauts the Buzzcocks release their latest and 11th album. Attitude Adjustment sees punk’s piercing snarl meet moreish, melodic musings.
