CM: How would you describe your identity as a designer in a few words?
Timeless innovation meets contemporary storytelling.
CM: What inspired you to become a designer and start creating fashion?
Fashion has always been my medium to explore identity and culture. My journey
started with an appreciation for craftsmanship, observing how clothing can tell stories and influence perceptions.
CM: What concept or message drives your work?
My work is driven by the idea of duality—balancing structure and fluidity, tradition
and modernity, storytelling and functionality. I aim to create pieces that evoke emotions while remaining timeless.
CM: Where do you draw inspiration for your collections?
I draw inspiration from my travels, art, and personal memories. For example, my recent work has been influenced by the landscapes and textures of Portugal.
CM: Is there a personal story behind your journey as a designer?
Yes, my thesis project marked a pivotal moment. It was a deeply personal exploration of craftsmanship and the emotional connection we form with clothing.
Despite challenges, this project opened doors, including collaborations with industry leaders like Haider Ackermann.

CM: What is your approach to design? Do you start from an image, a fabric, a feeling…?
I start with a feeling or a narrative. From there, I explore imagery, fabrics, and textures that align with the story. Every design element must contribute to the emotional resonance of the piece.
CM: How do you select the materials or techniques you work with?
Materials are chosen based on their tactile quality and sustainability. Techniques often stem from a mix of traditional craftsmanship and innovative processes.
CM: Is there a particular piece or collection you feel especially connected to? Why?
My thesis collection holds a special place in my heart—it was a reflection of my personal and creative growth. One specific piece, a structured puffer jacket inspired by a vintage chair.

CM: What are the core values that guide you as a designer?
Craftsmanship, sustainability, and emotional storytelling are my core values. I believe fashion should be meaningful and contribute positively to the world.
CM: How do you relate to the concept of ethical or sustainable fashion?
Sustainability is integral to my process. I focus on quality over quantity, creating versatile pieces that can stand the test of time and reduce waste.
CM: Who do you envision wearing your creations? What does your ideal
community look like?
I envision individuals who value both aesthetics and meaning—those who appreciate subtle details and timeless elegance. My ideal community is diverse, forward-thinking, and unafraid to express their identity.

CM: What has been the biggest challenge in your journey as a designer so
far?
Finding the balance between creative expression and commercial viability has been a challenge, especially as an emerging designer navigating a competitive industry.
CM: What does it mean to you to be “emerging” in today’s fashion world?
Being “emerging” means having the freedom to experiment while facing the challenge of carving out a unique identity in a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape.
CM: What is your long-term dream or goal as a designer?
My goal is to establish a label that resonates globally while maintaining authenticity. I aspire to lead a creative team that redefines menswear with purpose and innovation.
CM: Is there a mentor, figure, or brand that has deeply inspired you?
Haider Ackermann has been a significant influence—his attention to detail and poetic approach to design have deeply shaped my perspective.

years?
I see independent fashion embracing technology, sustainability, and collaboration to create more meaningful and impactful work.

Fashion is a powerful medium for storytelling and activism. It reflects societal values and can challenge norms while creating dialogue about important issues
like sustainability and inclusivity.
