The Origin of a Revolution
In recent years, the disciplines of art and fashion have
deeply questioned the gender divisions that society took for granted. A change that
began as murmurs, with artists like Cindy Sherman and Claude Cahun breaking
barriers, has become a revolution that challenges traditional boundaries. It is no longer
about being a man or a woman; it is something broader, freer. Contemporary artists
and non-binary figures use their works as a cry for authenticity, showing that identity is
as complex and diverse as humanity itself.
Fashion and Gender Without Restrictions_ While art was breaking molds, fashion was
still a bastion of gender normativity. Clothing was divided, the lines were clear:
masculine on one side, feminine on the other. But soon, this boundary became
