Past Lives
In 2021, model and stylist, Antony Fitzgerald, founded New Silver Generation to celebrate and promote mature models of colour around fifty years old and over within the fashion and beauty industry.
As well as being represented by Crumb Agency, Fitzgerald works with the agency to help foster and support its roster of multifaceted, intergenerational, as well as gender-nonconforming talent.
On the hottest day of June last year, one of Crumb’s rising stars, Lamont, was photographed alongside Andre Vincent Wilson in looks styled by Fitzgerald.
What emerged was a dream-like meeting of minds in which Andre and Lamont found mirror images of themselves in each other. ‘Past Lives’ is the result of a continuing dialogue centred around Black Queer Masculinity, how it has been expressed in the past and how it can continue to be re-framed and re-imagined in the future.
