Al Badiya 1.0

Al Badiya ٠١ is a return to the beginning — lbidaya — the untold story of cultural roots rediscovered through aesthetic reflection. Set against a raw, rocky Moroccan landscape, this editorial uses a Berber rug as a symbol: of warmth, of home, of maternal protection. For us, it represents the embrace of memory.

At its center is Sita Yasmine, a young Ivorian woman navigating life in Morocco. Her personal journey of displacement mirrors our own — raised between two cultures, belonging fully to neither. Through her, we see the familiar: the search for meaning, the struggle for opportunity, the beauty of resilience. Draped in textiles and surrounded by earth, Sita becomes both muse and mirror.

This is not just a fashion story — it is an installation of self. A place where Moroccan craftsmanship meets African diaspora. A soft resistance to forgetting. Al Badiya ٠١ is a space of cultural intimacy, created by those who live between languages and lands. It is the first of many stories.

في كل خيط، ذكرى. في كل عقدة، دعاء.”
“In every thread, a memory. In every knot, a prayer.”
