Goblinfrome and Sodam Hong are Creatives based in Vancouver, BC. Goblinfrome is a Designer with her vision of clothing and mixing mediums. Sodam Hong is a filmmaker and the Creative Director/Editor of this campaign project, “Duality”- a campaign collaboration between Goblin and Sodam.
Sodam: When I was developing my short film back in October 2025, I was looking for Stylists- that’s when I came across Goblinfrome. Her work speaks for itself, but I knew whatever she wanted to make would be the most impactful and original.
Goblinfrome: What more could have I done? Showrooms, making clothes, selling. I wanted to do something different. Sodam in my inbox, asking for what felt a hefty role. I never thought of opening myself to film. Let alone being in charge of helping with what the audience will see first hand. “Make whatever you want,” Sodam told me. I love to hear that. That specific look I did where I created, became my favourite.
Creating everything from scratch, this project opened Goblin’s eyes to an experience that she knew would end with a good feeling.
Goblinfrome: Sodam’s work, I understand it. I trust her window for my work to be viewed through, for everyone to see. She’s so professional and makes sure everyone is comfortable, bringing their fullest potential. I wanted to create something that mixes both of us- a story of our minds combined.
Sodam: It’s Designers like Goblin that inspire me to keep going in this overwhelming industry. I met Goblin during a time when I was burnt out, but through working with her, I think I re-learned what it means to create with purpose again. She’s so down to earth and genuine, I’m so lucky to experience this time of creative growth alongside her.
