London Fashion Week Through Our Fashion Editor’s Camera Roll

The Cold Magazine sent out its Fashion Editor, Henry Tuppen, to report on-the-ground at London Fashion Week. This is what he saw.

20.02.2026 (3:30pm) The Cold editorial team feeling analytical in their Fings

For me, fashion week began in the wrong queue. Thankfully, one of the lovely team at IDEA PR pointed me in the direction of the correct queue… which I then proceeded to miss – getting into a second wrong queue.

Once these logistical problems had been resolved and I made my way down the winding staircase to where I would be watching Poet-Lab’s show, I was slightly flustered. Luckily for me Lauren – the Cold’s Life & Art editor – was on hand to help me screw my analytical head back on, which as I am sure you can see from the above photo, remained firmly in place for the rest of what was a truly wonderful presentation.

We were also both dressed in our delightful custom Fingsbyfloss fashion week pieces. British Vogue later captured Lauren’s for their “Best LFW Street Style Looks”. Sadly mine didn’t make the cut, but that may be because I sent Floss the wrong measurements and my jacket didn’t fit.

21.02.2026 (7pm) Escaped the cheese room

I had a friend’s birthday to attend on the second day of fashion week, so I spent my morning watching the rugby at a pub in Balham – not very fashiony of me, I know. I made my way out that evening for my first show of the day, Size-A. Lauren had messaged to let me know she was already in so I assumed I could slip in seamlessly and make up for my poor showing with the queues yesterday afternoon.

Sadly, I was met with another logistical misfire. The man on the door ushered me into the ‘waiting room’, a box with no external windows and a pretty strong smell of cheese. Fortunately I am not the largest of men and managed to slip away unnoticed.

21.02.2026 (7pm) Friendly face on the front row

Despite my slight detour into the realm of cheese, I managed to make it to my seat early, and found a friendly face on the front row. This show was especially memorable as I was joined by my good friend Soria (a new addition to the Cold fashion team) who made the journey down from Manchester for her first ever fashion week.

After a while you begin to take the excitement of fashion week for granted slightly, Soria’s presence for the rest of my shows brought back a lot of the wide eyed joy I have been lacking in recent seasons.

21.02.2026 (9pm) There is nothing like a taste of the VIP treatment to make you start doing your best Miranda Priestly impression

We then made our way to Protein Studios for Fashion Scout’s Ones-to-Watch show. Always a great experience, but amplified by the fact it was Soria’s first time on the front row. We took plenty of selfies and found ourselves getting very bitchy. There is nothing like a taste of the VIP treatment to make you start doing your best Miranda Priestly impression.

21.02.2026 (9:34pm) Addams family chic

The show was another triumph, highlighted by this lovely Addams family ensemble from Min-Ji Kim. I’ve always been a sucker for a bit of fun on the catwalk.

22.02.2026 (11:45am) Any brands looking for a 5”6 male model give me a shout

The next day took us to Belgravia and the Argentinian Ambassador’s residence for Lucila Safdie. The overwhelming opulence of the surroundings, and the selection of reclining models doing their best impression of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette inspired me to try my hand at a bit of modelling.

Maybe the weekend of extravagance has gone to my head slightly, but I think I have a shot. Who says a 5”6 writer with a slightly receding hairline can’t be a Lucila Safdie it girl.

22.02.2026 (6:59pm) When you are down to your last dregs of energy there is nothing better than a trip to a brightly lit room with the most outrageous bassline remix of Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music” assaulting your eardrums

I spent the rest of my fashion week fighting a fever and slightly delirious. When you are down to your last dregs of energy, flitting between freezing cold and boiling hot, with a pounding headache, there is nothing better than a brightly lit room with the most outrageous bassline remix of Rihanna’s “Don’t Stop the Music” to assault your eardrums.

I can’t complain too much though, this harrowing experience was accompanied by a much needed philly cheesesteak and a short walk to my bed.
